Dicalcium phosphate is the calcium phosphate with the formula CaHPO4 and its dihydrate.It is also known as dibasic calcium phosphate or calcium monohydrogen phosphate. Dicalcium phosphate is used as a food additive, it is found in some toothpastes as a polishing agent and is a biomaterial.

Physical properties:
White monoclinic crystal powder; odorless and colorless; soluble in diluted Hydrochloric Acid, Nitric Acid and Acetic Acid; slightly soluble in water but insoluble in Ethanol; its relative density is 2.32; stable in air; it will lose its water of crystallization when heated to 75℃ and will convert to Dicalcium Phosphate Anhydrous.
